Building an Inclusive Community for International Students


Student support services and a positive international student co-curricular experience are essential for the successful creation of an inclusive community



How should institutions enrolling international students meet their ethical, regulatory and welfare obligations to those students? International students need a range of services and wellbeing programs to both succeed and endorse their institution to others. This article argues that institutions should meet these obligations through hiring international education professionals, allocating appropriate resources for and professional development for staff.
